Albums
The discography of the American rock band Toto includes 13 studio albums, four live albums, and numerous compilations. In addition to releasing original music, Toto has also done collaborations with other artists and on soundtracks for films. The band has won multiple Grammy Awards for their work.
Before Toto was formed the members of the group played sessions for other musicians. David Paich, the son of session drummer Marty Paich, and Jeff Porcaro (the brother of guitarist Joe Porcaro and drummer Jeff Porcaro) all performed on Boz Scaggsalbum from 1975 Silk Degrees. The collaboration led to the formation of Toto in the year 1976.
Turn Back, Toto's third studio album, was criticized by critics due to not having hit singles. In 1985, lead singer Fergie Frederiksen left the group The band held auditions for the new frontman. Guitarist Steve Lukather was chosen, and the band recorded the album Fahrenheit in 1986.
Toto released Toto XX in 1998 to mark its 20th anniversary. The band dug through old tapes and recordings to create the album. The album was well-received by fans, and Toto embarked on the tour with former members Bobby Kimball Steve Porcaro and Joseph Williams.
During the tour for the album 40 Trips Around the Sun The drummer Leland Sklar left the group and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set titled Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour and an interview with Toto.

During the tour Bobby Kimball, the lead vocalist, was arrested for drug charges. At the end of the tour the band decided to let him go and hire guitarist/singer Joseph Williams to take his place. Drummer David Hungate also left the band after the tour. He was replaced by bassist Leland Sklar.

Its exhibits include toilets, faucets, and tableware that have supported the growth of the TOTO brand over the last half century. The museum also features special exhibits throughout the year.

The most watched video by the group is "Africa" which has more than one billion views on YouTube. The video takes place in a library and features the band performing in front of a book about Africa.

In 1985, Fergie Frederiksen, Toto's drummer, quit the group for personal reasons. The group held an audition to find the replacement for Frederiksen.
Before and during the formation of Toto the members performed sessions for a variety of artists. Toto was founded after Jeff Porcaro, bassist David Hungate and Boz Scaggs recorded Silk Degrees. Paich played keyboards on Steely Dan's records, Seals and Crofts and Sonny and Cher.
In 1998, Toto started working on a project entitled Old Is New. The album featured three brand new tracks as well as a number of completed recordings of songs from the past. The album was a huge success across the globe and the band embarked on a tour around the world to promote it.

The band Toto, best known for their hit "Africa" The band recently came together for a concert tour to promote their newest album, All In. The album, which was released on the 6th of November, 2018 featured three new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun as also completed recordings of four tracks from the past with Jeff Porcaro playing drums and Mike or Steve Porcaro playing bass. The album also featured the cover of Weezer's track "Hash Pipe" that the band decided to add after hearing a version on the radio.
